My Bearthday...

I'm interrupting my Meeting Marlowe series to bring you my Bearthday, I'll bring you the final episode soon.
This is my grandma. She is the BESTEST grandma a bear can have! Look what she made for my bearthday party.
She delivered them too, in another extreme heatwave!
Ummmm! Lemon cubcakes with grandma's famous chocolate buttercream frosting! Yum, yum!
Brooks, Winnie(she heard Buster was here), Buster and Lisle(on my right), Cocoa, Scruffy and Barnes(on my left)all came to my party.
I get to use our families Special Red Plate.
Pheeeeeew!
Sure glad there was only one candle to blow out, that was hard enuf. If I counted in human years, instead of bear years, there'd be 21 candles? Hey, wait a minute, I'm legal! Where's the Root Bear? My grandma told me I shouldn't drink, it might make me crazy, so I'll stay 8.
Brooks was raiding the candy, as Lisle looked on.
Brooks, you are going to be sick! I had to take them away.
Mmmmm, delicious!
Yum!
I got a nice bearthday card in the mail the other day from my friends Jerry and Ben.
Mom made me wait to open it. Do you see their TM drawing on the envelope?
Yes guys, I do like the steekers! Thank-you for rembearing my bearthday!
I needed better leverage, so I climbed on the table to unwrap my presents.
While I was opening my present Scruffy noticed now Lisle was eying the candy.

Superman's car? I didn't know Superman had a car. It's really cool!
Notice how I threw the wrapping paper over the candy dish to temporarily distract Lisle.
This one rattles, sounds a little like bricks.
Oh, it's not, but I love these too!!
I think Brooks loves them too. I'll have to share. Maybe Lisle will like them too. It's sometimes it's hard to take care of my nephews when they visit.
We all called grandma on the speakerphone to say thanks for the delicious cubcakes and tell her we missed her and grandpa. It was such a hot day today, she was tired and didn't want to come out again.
I really like my car, my friend Beanie had a suggestion to cheer a couple of friends that are having a difficult time. I'm feeling like sharing. I had a beary nice Bearthday, I'm so glad I was adopted all those years ago.

Grr-bye for now,

 Buttons

Happy Birthday Buttons! You got a lot of cool stuff and it looks like you even had some candies left over at the end. You would have quite a crew for the Bear Olympics...
