Bedding industry goes to the giants...

Grandma and Grandpaw just got a new bed. Actually just a new mattress and box springs and new bed rails to convert their bed frame from a full to a queen. We were there to take Buster home and so dad could help grandpaw put it together. How did Buster, Barnes and I check it out?

Why jump on it of course! Grandpaw and Grandma were putting the mattress pad on it at the time, but we couldn't wait. Some of Grandma's comments when she saw the bed together. "My this sure is tall!" and "I'll need a step-ladder instead of my stool to get in and out." and one more..."This is not funny!!" That last one was because some others in the room were laughing. So just how tall is this new bed I wondered?
How many Buttons tall is it? I wasn't standing my tallest (15 inches) and the tape measure wasn't straight when the photo was snapped.
So dad helped us demonstrate with a Bear Tower. Falling out of this bed could hurt a bear, let alone a grandma or grandpaw. I think someone has hired giants in the bedding industry.
Finding other fun things to do at grandma and grandpaw's house.
Buster and me trying on Grandpaw's furry hat.

Somebody didn't calculate this before they bought the mattress, now they have to figure out how to get it lower. The top of the mattress measured 37 1/2 inches from the floor, that's about the same height as your kitchen counter-top or about 2 1/2 Buttons tall! Needless to say grandma and grandpaw slept in the guest room bed and Buster tried out the new bed. The next day I called to see how he liked it, Grandma told me he got a nose bleed because it was so high.

Hope they find a solution for their problem soon...I'll let you know.

Grr-bye for now,

Buttons

Oh, I forgot...Go Colts!

That is a VERY high bed. I think you would need a stepladder to get on top of it no matter who you were!

Am impressed!
Mother likes that sort of stuff, she was envious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe too much so, to stop me sneaking into her comfy bed!

Anyway, have given you a well deserved award, do call in & collect.
