Lots of pounding and zinging...

The day before Thanksgiving I head noises out front. I took a quick look out the sewing room window and this is what I saw.
A great big cement truck. I ran to look out the bedroom window and this is what I saw.

Brrrr! It's cold, mom told me to close the window. The neighbor's were finally getting a foundation for their new shed.

Then this past Thursday morning, I heard lots of zing, zinging and pounding.
Zing, isn't that the sound a circular saw makes? I decided to look out the kitchen window. Soon Barnes was climbing up me saying
"I wanna see, I wanna see"

They worked and worked, and we watched,
and watched
till we couldn't see anymore.
But we could still hear them for at least an hour after dark.
This is how far they got on Thursday. I watched them again while mom was out. They worked all day again
and finished just before dark. A good thing too, because it snowed late Friday night.

There, now you have been updated on our neighbors new shed. I think we are going to have to figure out another place to plant our tomatoes next summer, because it will be too shady in our usual garden spot.

Well grr-bye for now,

Buttons
