Easter Mail and Easter...

Better get a cup of tea of coffee and a cookie. You bears get some honey. This is going to be a long post. You have been warned.

Last week I got mail from Marlowe and his mom.
Barnes ran an got the letter opener.

He was eying the stickers on the envelope.
It's an Easter Card with a very cute bear on it.
While reading the card to Barnes, I could tell I didn't have his undivided attention.
"Look Buttons!" cried Barnes. "I got the lamb sticker off the envelope! Thanks Marlowe, I just love stickers!"
"Barnes, I'll try to get the goat sticker off" said Buttons.
"I got it off too. Now, what are we going to do with them Barnes?" asked Buttons.
"I don't know, but I heard mom say the eggs are ready to color" said Barnes.
"Let's just put them on the back of the card and go color eggs" said Buttons.
"Whew, one in each color. Hey Buttons, how's come they all look cracked?" asked Barnes.
"Barnes, those are rubber bands, not cracks."
Suddenly there was a Splash! Mom, who had wisely told Buttons to stand back, accidentally dropped another egg into the blue dye."Oh my, mom look out! I don't want another bath" cried Buttons
"That was a beary close one!"
"All done Buttons, I like the stripes of white." said Barnes as he finished putting the eggs into the carton.
"Those two really are cracked, good thing mom made a couple extra."Buttons added.
Easter visitors. We were sad that my cousin Bunky didn't make it. I think he slept in.
 My chocolate Easter cross,
 it's in a beautiful card.
Scruffy, Brooks, Braedon, Bulleit, Lisle and Barnes. (L to R) We all went to my grandma's house for Easter dinner and to celebrate grandma's bearthday which fell on Easter this year.
My grandma gave me marshmallow bunnies.

I apologize for the length of this posting. Hope you all had a Blessed and Happy Easter.

Grr-bye for now,

Buttons

I'm glad you got the card-- sorry it took me so long to answer! Mom gets all busy with work and doesn't help me type my replies!

I love stickers too! I also love farm animals, so I thought those would be extra cool!
