When unwelcomed visitors call...

Sorry, no photos to share...just a story.

The night before last we had an intruder walk into our house.  I was watching TV with my grandma, mom and all my bear buds in the family room. My dad was out mowing the backyard. It was almost dark out, and suddenly we heard our screen and patio doors opening. We all looked towards the door expecting to see my dad, but it was a STRANGER!!

He stepped into our family room. The young man was either inebriated or on drugs. I know, you're thinking that's a big word for a bear. I looked it up.

My mom thought grabbing the phone to call the police was more important than getting the camera to take a photo for my blog. My dad saw the guy coming out of our house and started asking him questions. He kept talking to the guy and walked along with him till the police arrived.

Somehow, I think he'd have been happier posing for a photo with me, instead of the mug shot the police took after they arrested him.

So, be sure to keep your doors locked all the time. Even if you are doing yard work. It will keep you, your bears and stuff safe.

Well grr-bye for now,

Buttons

Oh my gosh, that is frightening. We're glad that the police caught that guy! We bet Marlowe's bear growl might have scared him off too!

Marlowe it was a rather scary thing.
We are always checking to make sure our doors are locked.

Jerry and Ben are you guys still in Ireland? I think if Marlowe were here his bear growl may have been more effective than mine. My bear growl was a little too stunned to be heard.

Oh, Buttons! We are So Glad that you and your Humans are Safe!!! My Mommy Always Locks the Doors and Double-Checks them (because my Daddy is Not Very Good at this)!

Mommy says it's Sad, but you may have to Lock your Doors even when your Daddy is Outside...
Daddy says 'Not-to-Worry' as it certainly seems like a freak, one-time, event and that you should not be always frightened. My Mommy and Daddy often have Different Ideas!
